Issue Description area

This area includes the following fields:

Title

(required) Enter a brief title for the issue.

Area

Select the area related to the issue from the drop-down list. Valid entries for this field are defined by your administrator.

Version

Select the version related to the issue from the drop-down list. Valid entries for this field are defined by your administrator.

Category

Select the issue category from the drop-down list. Valid entries for this field are defined by your administrator.

System

Select the system related to the issue from the drop-down list. Valid entries for this field are defined by your administrator.

Client ID

(optional) Enter the customer ID of a secondary record to be associated with the issue. This must be a record with a type designated as a company record. This is often a company involved in resolving the issue (for example, a service vendor).

Environment

 Select the environment related to the issue from the drop-down list. Valid entries for this field are defined by your administrator.

Description

Enter a detailed description of the issue.

Note: You can enlarge the view of the Description field by pressing Ctrl+Z. Click OK to close the enlarged view of the Description field.
